Reading Curriculum
How we teach reading.
The academy uses the Orton-Gillingham Approach for students in grades K–5 as both a core curriculum and a remedial curriculum. Additional programs include Reading A-Z for comprehension standards and Simplify Writing for writing instruction.

Naturalization Exam Results
100% of government course completers scored 60% or higher.
Indiana requires students completing the government course to take a naturalization-style exam. In the 2024–2025 academic year, every DMA student who completed the course passed.
Indoor Air Quality
We follow Indiana's Indoor Air Quality in Schools Best Practices Manual.
